Video shows a Pasadena police officer accidentally shooting another officer on Sept. 7, 2025, in an incident inside the department’s parking garage.
On Wednesday, the department released the video to the public, as law enforcement agencies are required under state law to release Critical Incident Video.
"The Pasadena Police Department remains committed to serving our community with integrity, accountability, and respect. Accordingly, horseplay and or failure to adhere to safety rules and standards of professional conduct will not be tolerated," Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris said.

A federal civilian employee is in critical condition after he was attacked and seriously injured by a shark while swimming at a marina on a Navy base in Panama City, Florida on Monday. Recordings of 911 calls to authorities from bystanders reveal panicked calls for help to save the man. Both callers in these recordings reported that the shark attack victim had a "severed" arm.
