from training, staffing, and support, not someone’s nationality. It’s weird how when a place is clean, it’s credited to ‘Canadian values,’ but when it’s not, suddenly it’s the immigrant workers’ fault. That double standard says a lot — and none of it is about hygiene.
Blaming immigrants for dirty washrooms or bad service is completely unfair and honestly just lazy thinking. Immigrants aren’t the ones making budget cuts, removing cleaning staff, or deciding not to fix a broken sink — that’s on corporate management. Cleanliness and quality come
Blaming immigrants for a fast food chain’s decline is just lazy thinking. The company made corporate decisions — not the workers trying to earn a living. If Tim Hortons isn’t the same, maybe take it up with your “best boss”, not the baristas you racist.
In my 20s, I worked at Tim Hortons for about 6 years. I started out as a cashier and worked my way up to Assistant manager. Our owner and boss was probably one of the best bosses I've ever had. He was good to his employees, paid us fairly, and even gave us health benefits. He's now retired and living his best life with his beautiful wife. Thank you, John, for always being a great boss and owner. I will always remember Tim Hortons like that.
It's now been over 8 years since I've been to Tim Hortons as it's not the same.
It's sad and disgusting that something that was considered a Canadian staple has turned into the shittiest fast food restaurant due to mass immigration and immigration work programs. These restaurants have been destroyed.
