(6/6) GoldenEye is and will always be one of the top tier Bond films, and one of my personal favourites. It's Classic Bond all the way, reviving the franchise at a diffocult point and as such deserves every bit of praise it gets.
I LOVE this movie.

Being 2.5 at the time of release, I was introduced to GoldenEye on grainy VHS. Now, 27 years later, finally seeing it the way it was meant was nothing short of phenomenal: some thoughts: (1/?)
(5/6) the humour worked so well, I loved Desmond getting some laughs in during the Q-branch scene. Same with some of the one-liners and practical jokes.
Seeing all 6 men play Bond on the big screen: ✅️.
Licence works so much better as a cinema romp, still feeling fresh and exciting 33 years later, and Tim's performance is excellent. Might re-evaluate my ranking...

I applaud the concept - and execution actually - but when do the Bond marketing people get that we're not in fact all obscenely wealthy?
