@snoootiemoootie Ego definitely still has it as an end goal, but unlike previous arcs it's not really in the best interest of a lot of the remaining players anymore. The context Blue Lock exists in has changed, it's a whole team now instead of just a couple remaining forwards.

I don't think there are any bad chapters, but there are definitely bad moments and questionable writing decisions. Those moments just exist in chapters that are otherwise good. 112 would be great if you cut out the middle part.

At this point i think it’s an unpopular opinion but Kagurabachi has had 0 bad chapters so far

@Znteu5 @voixirial Ok but Chihiro doesn't do that. Spamming Kuro is only good against weak opponents who can't react to them well. For stronger opponents (like Julian) Chihiro always gets close.

@samanthatarly But yeah any adaptation is doomed to be dull and uninteresting if they stick to the letter of the source material too much. Books and tv just don't use the same storytelling language and have different limitations.

@samanthatarly If this is about HOTD, frankly the genre shift from a history book with unreliable narrators to a tv drama is a far greater change than any difference in the story. If I were a "book purist" I'd be mad about that instead of the F&B glup shittos being somewhat different.

@BJeezies88924 @sunfishyy How this fight goes is that Hakari tries to avoid SSK for a while (assuming he knows what it does) until he eventually fails and starts to lose. That's what happens when you rely exclusively on a gimmick, instead of having a balanced kit like the other heavy hitters.

@BJeezies88924 @sunfishyy He fought both Uraume and Kashimo for ages and neither of them took any significant damage. Kashimo was defeated by running him out of CE and Uraume just gave up. Neither of those are gonna happen to Maki.

@BJeezies88924 @sunfishyy SSK is extra good against Hakari because it counters his entire kit lol. There is absolutely nothing Hakari could do against Maki in a fight. He has no win cons. The moment they're in cqc he's getting stabbed by a sword he can't heal from.

@bluelockrensuke I can see them scoring a goal because someone (probably Isagi) devours Agi's ego, causing conflict in the England theme.

Additionally, idk if this last page means much, but some Aiku development would be really nice. He's been starving.

@mmeowgoo @alittleyareli That's why we don't know what devil he is and he is only named as Chainsaw Man, the title of the manga. He is in essence a diegetic extension of the author's will to continue the story.

@mmeowgoo @alittleyareli Thematically you can view Pochita as the ultimate plot device. He's a mcguffin that makes sure that the protagonist is always suffering, but he's also his best friend who gave him the power to always keep going no matter what.
