@united appreciate u giving me FOUR different reasons for not getting to DFW, landing in midland, saying an agent would come help w food/hotel, asking us to leave the terminal and meet agent at baggage, then marooning us OUTSIDE the airport when nobody showed up. Stay classy!
@royals_cards There's 800 tables and a billion people at DCS and I always wind up doing business with pretty much the same groups every show. I think your example above is a chief reason why.
As my business has grown, I've needed new avenues to buy, so I joined @RyansCardssLLC . 2 days in and here are my way too early opinions: it's very seller heavy and seller oriented, which is fine and a great place to sell. As a buyer, I'd say MOST are higher than a giraffe's ass.
@LAcarddude I guess a seller doesn't have to disclose. But you're an absolute dick if you don't. π€·ββοΈ But it prolly weeds out the dumbasses from selling faster bc they'll soon enough have burned enough people to get a bad rep, so maybe long term it's a good thing.
@TDawgCards My man, these ain't the dudes. They wouldn't ruin their reputation over a $85 card. I most certainly hope you reached out to them and gave em a chance to respond before blasting them.
@SlabmafiaSports @altxyzofficial I liked the alt value. I like any resource, really. I think that the more numbers, hypotheticals, algos, whatever are a very good thing.
@SlabmafiaSports Easiest path to success is certainly being nice and networking. Helps to accept smaller margins to make deals happen, despite the inherent desire to maximize. Repeat business is paramount. If one doesn't possess those traits, they'd better have a hobby cult or sell on Twitter.
@AlwaysLearn247 @CarolinaCardCo That very shirt pretty much exists and is available at just about any trade show nationally. They were made here in America by Wounded Warrior Sports and have become the logo for PickbinSportscards on whatnot. Just fyi.
@OldTownCards @ericwhiteback Reading comments made by people who have their own awful Twitter profit models (ie: selling on here at exorbitant prices that exist literally nowhere else) is kinda comical. I do nothing but buy/sell/talk cards literally all day everyday.Twitter is literally the worst hands down.
@royals_cards@CardPurchaser I'm straight G&S period. I think a lot of the old hats that have been selling since message boards were the preferred medium are the same. But what the hell do I know? People also now willingly send cards to the grifter Ken Goldin! My how times change.
