@what_says2929@BrysonGray Peter's vision was about people, not animals, as you would know if you kept reading through verse 28: "But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean." That's Peter's own interpretation of his vision.
@illini1959@TheSeanEsposito Paul said differently:
1 Corinthians 4:16 NKJV — Therefore I urge you, imitate me.
1 Corinthians 11:1 NKJV — Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
Both Paul and Jesus kept God's Sabbath and Holy Days.
@rabbriansamuel I'm quite certain your mother isn't lost, it just wasn't her opportunity yet. God is merciful and has a plan for many sons and daughters to ultimately be saved.

@RichardMi11igan@brysongray Those two commandments are direct quotes from the Old Covenant. They've encapsulated God's law from the beginning. And yes, loving your neighbor means you won't murder. Loving God means you'll keep the Sabbath.
@1Health_Nut@brysongray Nowhere in the Bible is there a distinction between "moral" and "ceremonial" laws. People made that up to dismiss the laws they don't like.
@RichardMi11igan@brysongray That's exactly his point. "Fulfill" doesn't mean "abolish." We still must obey God's law: no murder, no adultery, no idolatry, no Sabbath-breaking, etc.
If Holy Spirit is a person,
- Why didn’t John 1 mention the Spirit when speaking of the Father and the Son?
- Why none of the New Testament letters are addressed to the Holy Spirit, but only to the Father and the Son?
- Why did every apostle open and close their letters in the name of the Father and the Son but never including the Holy Spirit?
- Why didn’t Yeshua reveal the Holy Spirit like He revealed the Father?
- Why didn’t Yeshua ever pray to the Holy Spirit or teach anyone to?
- Why didn’t Yeshua say “Father, Holy Spirit and I are one”?
- Why did Yeshua say “the Father is greater than I but never “the Holy Spirit is greater than I”?
- Why did Yeshua say one must be born again of water and of Spirit, describing Spirit as a medium, not a person?
- Why did Yeshua ask the Father to send the Spirit, instead of asking the Spirit directly?
- Why did Stephen, when filled with the Spirit, pray to Yeshua and not to the Spirit itself?
- Why did John see only One on the throne and the Lamb, but never a “third person”?
- Why does Revelation end with “the throne of God and of the Lamb” but never mentioning the Holy Spirit on that throne?
- Why does Paul say “there is one God, the Father, and one Lord, Yeshua” (1 Cor 8:6) and not “and one Spirit”?
- Why does Yeshua call the Spirit the Comforter, Helper, Power from on High all descriptive titles, not personal names?
- Why did Peter say “God has made this Yeshua both Lord and Messiah” (Acts 2:36) right after the Spirit descended, yet didn’t elevate the Spirit as another Lord?
- Why in Acts, people are filled with the Spirit, but never pray to the Spirit?
- Why is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit possible, if it were a co-equal person, wouldn’t that also apply equally to Father and Son?
- Why did the prophets say “Spirit of YAHWEH” rather than treating it as a separate identity?
- What does both Father and Son say they will pour Their spirit instead of asking the Holy Spirit directly to pour himself down?
- Why does the Proverbs ask What is His Name and What is His Sons name, but never included Holy Spirit?
- What is the name of the Holy Spirit?
@JarranSainsbury Allow me to fix this for you:
Boys, don’t listen to the manosphere. Marry a feminine woman who wants to be a stay-at-home mom, loves Jesus, and looks great while doing both. You won’t regret it. Trust me.
@ChrisBlohn We're told that the disciples prepared for Passover, which would be expected since Passover was imminent, but we aren't told that THAT meal was Passover
@ChrisBlohn Plus, John 13:1-2, John 18:28, and John 19:14 all unambiguously show that the Last Supper happened before Passover. And nowhere in the entire Bible is the Last Supper specifically called a Passover meal.
@ChrisBlohn Completely agree! He died as our Passover Lamb on the same day and at the same time of day that the Passover lambs were always slain. That was the whole point of them being slain at that time.
