Thank you for your response. I wish to clarify that my previous comments were not directed at law enforcement officers. However, I have frequently observed instances where intervention was absent. While I acknowledge that this may not always constitute deliberate oversight, I am confident you are aware that neighboring states often enforce minor infractions, such as non-illuminated license plates. I have personally experienced being stopped in another state I used to live in for the absence of a front license plate after moving there only 14 days. I also recognize that these situations may not always be a priority or that officers may be responding to active calls. Nevertheless, our Valley and State have collectively permitted a proliferation of these issues, and the perceived lack of enforcement contributes to their perpetuation. They can obviously feel comfortable doing it for a year or more. Just look at the vegas reddit when this is brought up, or the recent NVDMV reporting portal. There are plenty reporting there of sighting expired tags 2023, or longer. The bigger picture is the lack of any concern and those in compliance paying for everyone else's lack thereof.
