My lived experience taught me that many Indian women and men above 65 are one of the most regressive, dangerous, fraudulent and corrupt-to-the-core group of humans alive. Their goal is total control over every youngster in their family, and elimination of their desires, life ambitions and happiness, to the maximum possible extent. They absolutely demand respect no matter how repulsive their character(s) may be. And they use culture, religion and mumbo-jumbo to perpetuate their fraud. Time to speak up, and expose, and resist.
30+ artists including me were summoned by authorities for being on Latent.
The whole comedy fraternity took a hit because of how stupid you’re. Shows were canceled, Venues pulled out, Judgements made, the pathetic shadow of your stupidity still continues to make lives of funny comedians difficult. You didn’t even care to understand that side.
Stop pretending to be the nice guy you’re not. Take your cheque’s,
lower your gaze & be very ashamed.
You’re a contraceptive for creativity,
stop milking this & go back to what you do best which is being a hurdle for upward social change while FraudCasting & clout chasing…
If you think Galgotias University students are concerned about what has happened, you’re wrong.
They’re actually the happiest.
Watching your college get bashed left and right is such a fun thing for students to see.
There are probably making memes on this.
A critic can pan years of work of a movie or author in few minutes, destroy reputations. But god forbid if anyone criticises the critic. That’s the death of freedom of speech. 😂

Dhurandhar is technically good cinema, but it is also pure, unadulterated, and unacceptable propaganda. You don't need to see the full 3.4-hour film to conclude that. I haven't. Now you have to hear me out before you go out to watch this piece of gratuitous gore wrapped in a spy thriller cover.
Aditya Dhar is an insidious bigot, proven by his deliberate choice to show Pakistan in a poor light. He could have chosen Mauritius, which has beaches where the lady spy could prance in a bikini. But no, he chose the lovely Lyari in Karachi. Do we not have kachchi aabadi in India?
My bigotry of low expectations is so profound that I patronisingly conflate 25 crore Indian Muslims with Pakistan, and by extension, Islam, and therefore, I cannot endorse this 'Islamophobia.'
I must offer my disservice now by preemptively attributing motives to Dhar and questioning the existence of any cinema, however well-made, that my indoctrinated intellect can't easily process.
I haven't seen the film, and I hope I don't like it when I do. My review will follow, but for now, know this: This is not my India. This is not my Bollywood.
Dear YRF, only your spy universe can salvage what is left of our nice little insulated universe. Please show an Indian spy making love with a terrorist-spy who has vowed a thousand cuts on India. Make love, not war. Peace and out. ♥️☮️♥️
I expect all like-minded global citizens to believe me and support me as I raise the heat in a already hot and fractured society. I will not allow Aditya Dhar to damage the fabric the threads of which I have been pulling so carefully as I pull the wool over your eyes.
Wait for my review where I will condemn the chutzpah of Dhar and pan his big outing after watching the film. Also, Yami shouldn't have married this man. She is a bigot too. Deepika shouldn't have married the nutcase who looks brilliant as the protagonist. She is a bigot too. Compromised by JP Nadda with a brand ambassador role. Also, anybody who watches this film is a bigot. Except the critic with a conscience, like me.
Rating: Dhurandhar gets 0 stars. It's an assault on our collective lack of conscience.
With its $83B acquisition of Warner Bros, Netflix will own “Succession”, which happens to have the best scene ever of a streaming service buying a legacy media asset (Matsson just cooks the Roys):
▫️”Lecture me Vaulter Guy"
▫️”[Waystar is] a parts shop. Good parts. Bad brand."
▫️”I don't care what you think. You're a tribute band."
▫️[About Greg in Swedish] “There’s more of them…6’9 of pure nepotism!”
▫️ “[ATN] is fine but the graph is horrible. It's not complicated. A lot of yelling. Long term, I don't think news for angry old people works. I'd fold it in. Fat pipe that shit. Simple, cheap, huge. Ikea'd to fuck."
▫️”I'm just trying to make you fucking rich." ("Already Rich")
▫️”On the offer, I think I am what I am what I am." ("Ok, Popeye")
Truly incredible writing.
home for thanksgiving and found people are watching the new show pluribus, which is funny timing considering it pairs almost too well with the artificial hivemind work that was just awarded neurips best paper this year
in the show, humanity has turned into a collective hivemind that is perpetually content but only because it’s stripped of individual personality and dissent. the paper warns that reward models are behaving like the virus in the show, sanding away idiosyncratic responses until model diversity collapse
seeing the show’s universal agreement virus after reading the implications section of the paper makes it almost feel like a companion piece lol
If you find yourself struggling with low attention span, I highly recommend you watch Pluribus on Apple TV.
It is one of the most morally complex shows I have seen in recent years. 4 episodes in, I still don't know how to make sense of it morally.
Vince Gilligan knows this very well and uses every trick in the filmmaking book to prolong that moral conundrum inside you. It does in 4 episodes what a run-of-the-mill Netflix show will do in 1. And yet it doesn't feel slow because your mind is constantly working.
As an example, episode 4 (~45 minutes long) has only 6 scenes - an average of ~8 minutes per scene - something you will never find in most modern shows.
It's a show that calms and nourishes your brain without cucking you with cheap dopamine.
