Why?

Because after a move like this, I expect some form of counter-trend bounce 📈 — and I plan to trade that move from the long side before the larger setup completes.

🎯 Final target zone for this swing short:
→ 62K–59K

Once we reach that area:
🧠 Reassess.
📊 Re-evaluate market structure.
⚖️ Let price dictate the next move.

The short may be nearing its endgame...

🚨 The New York Fed just dropped a report on the “K-shaped economy” — and it’s telling.

Since 2023, spending growth has been driven mostly by higher-income households 💸

Meanwhile, since late 2022, lower-income households have been hit with higher inflation than middle- and high-income households.

Translation: wealth is rising faster at the top, while inflation is squeezing harder at the bottom. 📊

And yes… they spent money on a report to reach that conclusion.

Futures are trying to lead the charge… but Spot is NOT fully backing it up yet. 👀

📈 Futures Flows:
30m, 1H, 4H, and 8H are all showing positive net inflows ✅
That tells us leverage traders are stepping in and pushing momentum.

But here’s the catch… 🪤
📉 12H & 24H Futures are negative, with the 24H showing -$786M net outflow.

That means the bigger picture still has distribution pressure.

Now look at Spot 👇

🔴 Spot flows are negative across every timeframe shown
30m, 1H, 4H, 8H, 12H, 24H = all red.

That’s the warning sign. ⚠️

When Futures are green but Spot is red, the move is often leverage-driven, not true organic demand.

Translation?
🚀 Short-term squeeze in progress
🧨 But weak spot confirmation = higher trap risk
🎯 Bulls need spot inflows to flip green for real continuation
🪓 If futures cool off while spot stays red, price can get slapped fast

We’ve got a Total Solar Eclipse in mid-August ☀️🌑
followed by a Partial Lunar Eclipse in late August 🌕🌘

That puts BTC right in the middle of a major astro window.
