Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.

We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.

With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.

آج 31 مئی 2026 کو بین الاقوامی منڈی میں تیل کی فی بیرل قیمت 87 ڈالر ہے ۔ ایک ڈالر پاکستان کے 279 روپے کے برابر ہے ۔ اگر ہم ایک بیرل تیل کی قیمت پاکستانی روپوں میں معلوم کرنا چاہیں ۔ تو ہم 87 کو 279 سے ضرب دینگے ۔
279 × 87 = 24273
ایک بیرل میں 159 لیٹر تیل ہوتا ہے ۔ اگر ہم ایک لیٹر تیل کی قیمت معلوم کرنا چاہیں ۔ تو 24273 کو 159 پر تقسیم کرینگے ۔
24273/159 = 152.66
یعنی بین الاقوامی منڈی سے پاکستان کو ایک لیٹر تیل 152.66 روپے کا مل رہا ہے ۔
ہم اس پر زیادہ سے زیادہ دوسرے اخراجات ڈال کر فرض کرلیتے ہیں ۔ کہ پٹرل پمپ میں یہ تیل 200 روپے فی لیٹر پڑ رہا ہے ۔
اور عوام کو 381 روپے میں بیچا جارہا ہے ۔ یعنی ہر لیٹر پر حکومت کے خزانے میں 181 روپے جمع ہورہے ہیں ۔
سرکاری اعداد وشمار کے مطابق پاکستان میں روزانہ کم و بیش سات کروڑ لیٹر تیل استعمال ہوتا ہے ۔
اب اگر ہم سات کروڑ کو 181 سے ضرب دینگے ۔ تو ہمارے پاس وہ رقم آجائے گی ۔ جو صرف تیل کی مد میں روزانہ عوام کی جیب سے ٹیکس کی شکل میں سرکاری خزانے میں جارہی ہے ۔
70000000 × 181 = 12670000000
یعنی صرف تیل کی مد میں موجود وفاقی حکومت عوام کی جیب سے روزانہ تقریبا بارہ ارب 67 کروڑ نکال رہی ہے ۔

My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim
Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt.
This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.
