I’m 34 years old, and I have lived in Canada my whole life.

The freedom convoy was the first and only time in my life where I truly felt proud to be Canadian. It was the only time I had ever seen that kind of unity and purpose in the country - and it wasn’t for something dumb and meaningless like a sports game, it was for something that was real, something that actually mattered, something that actually affected peoples day to day lives.

People from every race, every religion, and every class, coming together to stand against tyranny, and for what was right and true.

It was a really wonderful thing to see. I hope to see it again someday, and I hope I don’t have to wait another 34 years.
