Another editorial job in publishing has gone to a private-school-and-Oxbridge-educated person. Good luck to them, genuinely. But at least one working-class person applied for that job, and I wonder how many did? Publishing, diversity is only diversity if it actually happens.

@getreadinghomie It depends. I think if there’s constraints on the review, like the publisher wants it done by a particular date or if the publisher uses my post for their promo, yes, maybe. But otherwise no, I do it because I love to read and find people with similar opinions ☺️
