Congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his assured pathway to second term so beautifully laid by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, his consortium partner in the delivery of 'Project 2nd Term for Tinubu, 2027'.
Obasanjo never said anything related to Sule Lamido's appointment in any of his books. It was only in Lamido's autobiography, 'Being True to Myself', that Lamido wrote that he was presented with an undated letter of resignation like all other ministerial nominees but he refused to sign it, asking to be excused. He said he told Obasanjo that whenever he felt he was not performing, he should tell him and he would resign. He did not actually say he was not given the letter or that he was the only one not given.
Obasanjo himself confirmed it in his remarks at the lauch of the book in Abuja in May 2025. According to him, he said Lamido told him, when he was given the undated letter, something to the effect of:
“You appointed me; I did not ask you to appoint me. If you find me unworthy, just give me five minutes and I will resign. But please excuse me from giving you an undated letter of resignation.
Obasanjo said he conceded to the request and went ahead to appoint him. Obasanjo never said it that he did not give Lamido the letter or that he exempted only one him.
@Mayordavid_9@StatiSense Whao! The stat does not have a source, you said?!😳 Even with the five different sources referenced below the data; still "the stat doesn't have a source", to you! What kind of headline reading is this?
@MunachiB15471@TheBeninBlogger Your MNK was more brutal, terrorising and deadly to you his people, spilling your blood more than any external terrorists have ever done. That is why he is great; great over the blood and the graves of thousands of Ndi Igbo he massacred callously!
Nothing is inaccessible on INEC's online database. INEC website is there and publically accessible to everyone to access, just like the website of any public or private organization. You too can access the lists of leadership of all registered political parties on INEC portal, if you choose to.
Even Peter Obi their principal himself; if he had been left to pass through a primary election, whether free and fair or not, he would have lost like his supporters too. So, what would have befallen him is bound to befall his supporters, given the same circumstance.
Obi dreads primary election. It is the reason why he always guns for free ticket in any party he moves into.
Unfortunately, he lacks the influence to ensure free or concensus nominations for his supporters too; especially, the highly resourceful ones within the Obidient 'movement'. Or do I say he is so self-minded to be thoughtful of his supporters?
Obi is a featherweight politician deceptively padded by his vociferous supporters to look like a charismatic political leader with the positive influence to make things happen for himself and his supporters, not 'followers'.
I deliberately do not call his supporters 'followers', because only a leader has followers. And Obi does not evince the quality to be called one; at least, in the context of political or public leadership.
A charismatic politician with a large cult of supporters like the Obidients would have positively wielded them as a bargaining power to bring some good things home to himself and his supportes within any political circle.
That was what Bola Tinubu did back then with his ACN bloc of APC, and still does. That is what makes him stay relevant and formidable in the Party. That was the power he wielded in 2022 to lay claim to the highest office in the Party and in the country. That is why he is President today. And that is why his followers and longtime loyalists are in prime positions of power in Nigeria today.
Tell me two popular candidate that follows Peter Obi to NDC that was given a chance to participate in free and fair primary election.
But their principal is ok since he has been given what he wants. This is one of the reasons those who work with him during governorship tenure in Anambra can't come out openly to support him.

I voted for Peter Obi in this poll, but heaven knows, and my spirit bears me witness, that my vote belongs to President Bola Tinubu on January 15, 2027.
I voted for Obi, because I want to keep Obidients inspired in their false hope in online poll wins as an indication of sure victory for Obi till they are disillussioned again on January 15, 2027 just like they were in 2023.

On this occasion of Peter Obi's emergence as NDC's presidential candidate, I extend my sincere congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his assured pathway to second term in office so beautifully laid by Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, his consortium partner in the delivery of 'Project 2nd Term for Tinubu, 2027'.

@OYEBRIGHT@StatiSense The data are actually from Eagle Badger Data Analytics (EBDA), a Nigerian political and market analytics firm. The firm just released its year 2026 survey of approval/disapproval ratings of president Tinubu.
This poll can only be considered conclusive regarding the likely outcome of the 2027 presidential election, if the survey was conducted among millions of registered voters scattered across all wards and polling units in every state of the regions; or, more precisely, among all eligible voters who have collected their PVCs in those regions.
In any case, President Tinubu getting up to 30% : 40% approval/disapproval ratings in 4 of the 6 regions indicates that he is going to have good outings in those 4 regions.
Moreso that the 4 regions are the more populated among the 6 regions. The president getting the best rating in North East where his strongest opponent, Atiku Abubakar, comes from is also a positive for him. The poll largely points green towards victory for the president.
