@HensDBD True, I love the obscurity and mystery behind this even if I'm 90% sure it's Pennywise.
The cabin stream was even cooler in principle though, and was still good despite the whole time thing imo
@thunderba11r If this was something they'd done out of the blue I'd be concerned.
But this is clearly just a few neat things they added in for the sake of the switch release, and they made it available to everyone for a modest price. I seriously doubt this is going to escalate lol
@GraftSouls I feel even worse for the timeline where the new stuff wasn't made available off of switch at all. People will always find a way to complain anyway though.
@OnlyWaifu Think it depends tbh. Like yeah if they're blaming you for being competitive in a competitive environment that's stupid. But if you assume every player you face is always taking the game 100% seriously that's also not true.
@All_Lee24 So many areas like this. You don't want to know how long I spent trying to reach the Abyssal Woods, putting the map fragment next to the Jagged Peak was evil.
@AbolishEGirls I think the actual reveal being on polar opposite end of the day from the "be here or miss it" moment was utterly stupid.
But I'm honestly pretty sick of "dev makes a mistake = review bomb". I'm sure they already know by now they could've handled it better.
@ScottJund I think some of that sentiment came from people who were really just tired and delirious from the stream. They'll feel better once they sleep lol
@Rechardart Ring is my favourite Fromsoft game, I prefer most things it does more than previous titles.
At the same time the open world can make it exhausting to replay, and the combat's not for everyone. It's entirely subjective - if other folk prefer older games, good on them
@Le_vrai_Kurama DS1
DeS
DS2
BB
Order of release from there
Despite growing up on FromSoft games I'm still ass at the combat and missing most collect-a-thon achievements
@oomphiest I find it funny that all these characters were probably co-written by GRRM, who explicitly prefers character depth and motivations over moral alignment.
Three of them do ruthless things cus they think they're doing what's right and believe the ends justify the means, etc.
@croompley There was once a time when they had the most depth and challenge out of any souls boss, so mostly nostalgia.
I don't really hear about them anymore though, most of the time when I hear about a boss from the souls trilogy now it's just Gael which I'm kinda tired of lol
@ThighNir I found out recently that some people glaze bad decisions on purpose, because they hate the fandom and don't want it to be happy. It's kinda sad that it ever got to this.
