@twostraws Anything to do with SwiftData would be awesome! I thought that Apple’s sessions on this new topic was underwhelming. It needed more time. If it is possible, do you think you could show how to do the equivalent of SectionedFetchRequest?
@twostraws - Anything a player has to pay to the bank goes into the middle. Person that lands on free parking takes cash. No money is collected while in jail. Landing on go is the same as passing go. Players cannot but land first trip around board!! This is law!
@CodeWithChris Hey Chris, Great video! I personally have only used CoreData however I’m up to trying other things. If you get bored one day maybe you could do a video on CloudKit with examples on using private, public and shared data.
@brownleeMarq I have to say left. However if you were to align total deaths to the center and right justify total recovered and deaths today (headers and values) and move critical cases up I’d prefer the right.
What program do you guys use to organize your app ideas, progress, etc. Pen & paper isn't working for me. I’m also scatterbrained & will start to work on a new feature when I think of it instead of finishing the current one. Need help organizing. @twostraws#100DaysOfSwiftUI
Hoping someone with #swiftUI & #coredata experience can help. I have an iPad master/detail view of client info. When I edit the selected client in the list, the master view updates but the detail doesn’t . I’m passing the moc and using Environment. @twostraws
Hey Mark. Turned out that my TabView didn’t like having my LoginView on top of it.
ZStack {
TabView()….
LoginView(viewOpacity: self.$viewOpacity).opacity(self.viewOpacity)
}
Wrapped it all in a GeometryReader and set the frame of the TabView to the geo’s size. Now works.
@BigMtnStudio@twostraws Thanks Mark. I had a feeling that was the case. It’s just weird that if you use a physical iPad for the canvas preview everything is great. Then you compile and run on that same iPad and the master view is smaller. Maybe I’m missing something.
@twostraws@BigMtnStudio#swiftUI Hi Paul and Mark. I was revisiting the iPad section of #100DaysOfSwiftUI and need a little help. Is it possible to set the sizes of the navigation views when in landscape? I want the master to use 25% of the screen and the details to use 75%.
@twostraws
Finally had time to finish off the last section of #100DaysOfSwiftUI ! Thank you Paul for all your hard work. I can’t wait to see wait you come up with next!
@brownleeMarq@twostraws That is the code that I saw. Half of it is not even needed. When you tap the return button the keyboard is dismissed without any of that code. The tap function might be useful. Thanks for the suggestion.
What is the correct way to dismiss the keyboard in SwiftUI? I’ve come across some crazy looking hacks but not a pure SwiftUI version. It's driving me crazy!!!! #100DaysOfSwiftUI#swiftui@twostraws
@MrMcSwiftface Xcode is a memory hog! I recently upgraded to 32GB and if I leave Xcode running for a day it just eats up more and more memory…Shutting it down twice a day now to relieve the memory pressure.
