Human judgement in engineering is ironically even more crucial now. Deciding what to build. Deciding on the right architectures. Deciding whether you regenerate from scratch $$$ or reuse existing legos. Managing tech debt. You can do anything now, but you can't do everything.

The older I get, the more I realize preparation always beats planning. Planning is based on the expectation of order. Preparation is based on the expectation of chaos. Plan for order and you'll be destroyed by chaos. Prepare for chaos and you'll thrive in any condition.

@scotsrule08 ‘22 x on the latest versions, take that exit several times a week and it does the same thing. Several areas up here it also has a bad habit of trying to get into turn only lanes when it shouldn’t and out of them when it shouldn’t . 820 and 121/183 are a mess.

With the new Hankooks I put on it, I can consistently get sub 3s 0-60mph and sub 10.1s 1/4 times.

It was 150k when I got it .... not so much now 😅

Touched some grass ( ice ... gravel ... black sand ... glaciers ... beautiful Icelandic horses ) this past week. Now it is back to the grind. If you have never been to Iceland, I can't recommend it enough.
