@codevolt @EnvVault CI environment, something has to hold a credential there and it can decrypt - but it's scoped, revocable, expirable service account not your master key. Zero knowledge - my server can't read it, not that the runner(client) can't. Leak - one killable vault, not your account.

env vault(https://t.co/HfuVPDbjns): my server physically cannot read your secrets. it only ever stores ciphertext. the keys never touch it.

@codevolt @EnvVault Good point. Key recovery on a new device is the normal login path, not a weaker one. Your key sits on the server encrypted under your password. A future plan is there for user-held recovery code.
