@ToonHive@DiscussingFilm Please bring back the original voice actors or I'm tapping out (obviously, not including Tom Kane) but bring back Cathy, E.G., and Tara.
Apparently all the ragebaiting trolls love to come out for #Juneteenth. Black folk really do live rent free in some peoples' mind. I say live your best life and let the bigoted fools stew in their own misery until they learn to work out their issues.
Daveigh Chase has sadly passed away at the age of 35.
She was best known for her role as Samara in ‘The Ring,’ as well as voicing Lilo in Disney’s ‘Lilo & Stitch’ and Chihiro in the English-language version of ‘Spirited Away.’
@BladeRaisor Owl House comparisons do pretty much write themselves. Personally, I'll give the animators, writers, and directors the benefit of the doubt and they genuinely did want to tell their own original story. But the fact that the main character was supposed to be a boy doesn't help.
@AwestruckVox My main issue with the movie is the character design so far. Like, you can literally insert these characters into the Frozen world, and they'd blend right in.
I know I'm late to the game, but #Pixar's #Hoppers is an underrated gem. It's unhinged humor and zany action is balanced by a great emotional core between Mabel, her grandmother, and the beaver king.
Congratulations to celebrated Disney animator Floyd Norman who will receive an Academy Honorary Award at the 2026 Governors Awards.
His work on numerous feature films, from Sleeping Beauty and The Jungle Book to Robin Hood and Mulan, cements his enduring legacy among Disney Legends.
Floyd Norman will receive an honorary Oscar.
He was the first black animator at Disney and had a 65-year run at the studio working on films such as ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Mulan’ and ‘Toy Story 2’.
@fwmann1e Azula's worst traits were always praised by Ozai, so as long as "Dad" was around, she was never going to face repercussions for her cruelty. This is even elaborated in the comics when Ozai scolds Zuko for daring to criticize Azula's behavior. To Ozai, morality did not matter.
