I love golf. There's a mindset hack called "stress free golf".

Easier said than done of course, but the premise is simple. Don't overthink, if there's no opportunity then play it safe, prevent the catestrophic (double/triple bogeys), just make the game as stress free as possible

It's clever on the game's part to price rise early. It forces people to make decisions which keeps people engaged.

It forces you to make a decision before you're ready. And transfers can't be unwound
