@FenixAmmunition Long for caliber bullet with worn crown and rifling in a slow twist barrel and add in that it’s dirty and fouled up. Maybe the the tip of the bullet is deformed. Good chance a bullet fired out of a rifle like this tumbles mid flight because it can’t stabilize correctly.

@FenixAmmunition We don’t know the condition of the rifle, was its grandads old rifle with worn out barrel and slower twist rate or new modern one with pristine barrel and fast twist. This would also play a role in how the bullet behaves once it leaves the barrel.
