#Day2 of the Waste Sector #GHGInventory Capacity Building was successfully conducted at @nwscug.

The training forms part of the ongoing #CBITIIUganda initiative, delivered in collaboration with @afr_ii and other partners, including @min_waterUg, @ConservationOrg, and @theGEF.

During the session, experts strengthened their technical capacity in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions estimation for the wastewater sector, with a particular focus on calculating methane (CH₄) and nitrous oxide (N₂O) emissions from domestic wastewater using internationally recognized inventory methodologies.

Together, we are strengthening Uganda's capacity to deliver accurate, transparent, and robust national GHG inventories under the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF).
