Delighted to share that this paper is coming out in a special issue in JCEN! I and other trainee-leaders, along with some faculty mentors, sought to characterize the experiences of neuropsych trainees in light of major changes in the field (e.g., the MNC). https://t.co/6NkUii6vIi
🚨🚨Check out our (@vjrphd) study using machine learning to help determine when self-reported ADHD symptoms are no longer valid. Our goal was to show how technology and advanced algorithmic approaches can bolster (not replace) current neuropsych methods!

Topics of interest include but are not limited to heterogeneity in training models, competencies and training innovations, graduate student and faculty experiences and perspectives, and mentorship and pipeline issues.
Both introductory pieces end with recommendations for the field and calls for future research. JCEN welcomes additional submissions on these important topics.
We are excited that both parts of our special issue on Innovations in Assessing Performance and Symptom Validity are now out in press! The introductory pieces to both issues are free to view.
The second issue focuses on symptom validity: relationships with performance validity measures, the development of new symptom validity measures for specific purposes including criminal forensics, telehealth administration, and refining cutoffs. https://t.co/bpiAyd88Me
