Elections have consequences

When you lose governor, AG, SOS and the Michigan Supreme Court, you’re left to cross fingers and hope for a gift from SCOTUS

Let this be a lesson: Nobody is coming to save us

THE HYPOCRISY IS STUNNING.

States entrusted sensitive motor-vehicle and voter information to the Electronic Registration Information Center(ERIC)—a private, nongovernmental organization.

According to the Department of Homeland Security letter, before the 2020 election, ERIC shared protected motor-vehicle data with the private Center for Election Innovation and Research. That organization received more than $70 million from a Chan Zuckerberg(Facebook)-funded nonprofit and distributed grants to election officials who agreed to provide it with sensitive data.

In other words, citizens’ information was shared and reshared among private organizations—information the letter warns could be extremely valuable to political parties and campaigns.

Yet some of these states now refuse to provide voter-roll records to the United States Department of Justice.

They trusted private organizations with sensitive citizen data, but they resist lawful federal oversight of election records.

Private organizations get the data. Federal law enforcement gets stonewalled.

That double standard demands answers.

Secretary Markwayne Mullin was right to refer this matter to the Attorney General. Americans deserve to know who received their information, how it was used, where it was transferred and whether the law was followed.

Secretary Markwayne Mullin deserves praise for bringing these serious concerns directly to the Attorney General.

Election Integrity Network has raised concerns about the Electronic Registration Information Center(ERIC) for years—particularly its access to vast amounts of sensitive voter and motor-vehicle data and the potential sharing of that information with private organizations.

The double standard is impossible to ignore.

Member states provide ERIC with extensive personal data—often every 60 days—under agreements that permit the data to move beyond the direct control of state election officials. Yet some of these same states resist providing voter-registration records to the Attorney General of the United States, despite federal law authorizing the Attorney General to inspect and reproduce election records that states are required to preserve.

Why is a private, nongovernmental organization trusted with more election-related data than the nation’s chief law-enforcement officer?

Secretary Mullin is right to demand a legal review of how this sensitive information is collected, used and transferred. This is an important step toward the transparency and accountability Americans deserve.

Our Detroit 2020 Election Inspection team just identified and VERIFIED 26,901 absentee ballots were counted with NO accompanying envelopes.

I personally identified SIX NON-Citizens from the DHS Worst of the Worst Criminal Aliens list who were on MI Voter rolls, Two of them voted in MULTIPLE elections. He said his work will focus on the nexus comprised of I-75 from Ohio, I-65 from Indiana, and I-94 from Illinois.
