2025/2026.
What. A. Season.
3 years of being the nearly men, finally the Premier League is back in the hands of The Arsenal.
For years I grew up throughout school seeing Man Utd and Chelsea share the title year after year and see my friends celebrate every single May and act like the kings of the playground. Then Man City popped up with one but no one cared as their fans didn’t exist outside of Manchester.
Our season was build on getting top 4 and enjoying the one off results that I could use for a few weeks in those same playgrounds. Those results grouped in with magical European nights like winning 0-2 away in the San Siro, being the first English team to do. The 2-1 home win over one of the greatest sides in history in Barcelona. 0-1 in Madrid, the nearly impossible 3-0 comeback vs AC Milan. But all these were mixed in with the 8-2 vs Utd, 6-0 vs Chelsea, constant City batterings. The Birmingham City final, Bradford on penalties, Man Utd in the UCL Semi. Of course we had some wonderful days in the sun at Wembley, love to Alexis, Ramsey and Aubameyang for those (you too Santi).
We’ve had players fighting each other on the pitch in Bendtner & Adebayor, we’ve had club captains throw a tantrum on the pitch and walk to the half way line, we’ve had captains leave for rivals and celebrate against us, we’ve had our best players leave year after year as they couldn’t see how The Arsenal would come back.
It took a while, but The Arsenal are back - and they’re here to stay.
So forgive me if I don’t care about rival fans trying to belittle us winning the Premier League, a bit of banter between friends is perfect and what the sport is built on - but some random on the internet doesn’t get the time of day from us anymore.
Today is our day, the day we celebrate being Premier League Champions again.
CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND, WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE. ❤️🤍
All this hate just makes me love the Arsenal even more. I can’t explain it. I enjoy this level of hatred, because it’s satisfying to know they’ll never be us and deep down it kills them.
The way people are pretending this entire PSG project is such a feel good story is so cringe man. A state funded sports washing project threw billions on the wall and finally it clicked for them after a more than a decade and a half thanks to load management gimmicks
In sports, there are winners, and of course there are losers. We ended up on the wrong side of the result today. Congratulations to PSG, with all due respect.
But don't disrespect our players please. Every single one of our players put their bodies on the line until the very last minute. Hincapie even played the whole extra time with a crippled leg.
Every one of them contributed to this journey, and even though the result is not what we wanted, we are proud of them. Keep your heads up and keep fighting!
🗣️| Mikel Arteta on how he’s feeling: “Pain. When you are so close in a competition, a few penalty kicks in the biggest club competition in the world, then that's how we should feel. We have to turn this pain into fuel.” [@UEFAcom] #afc

❤️🤍 Declan Rice: “I’m so proud of the boys. We will be back. We love them and we are with them”.
“Without them, we wouldn’t have won the Premier League. We have to be proud”.
