@zondo_sikhumba FYI... There nothing called a Shona tribe in Zimbabwe. In fact, there is no Shona language in Zimbabwe. I guess your PRIDE in being Ndebele is derived from years of successful studying, or a successful application to be born Ndebele.
🔸Nobody hates South Africa. Everybody hates xenophobia.
If hate watching a mere soccer match causes this much hurt, imagine the hurt that comes with watching your compatriots being treated inhumanely because of their nationality or the colour of their skin in another African nation?
What we have observed over the last few days is that that hurt can’t be switched off just because a soccer match is on. People carry it within their souls. Hearts bleed.
So the aggrieved will protest in solidarity with those who are being attacked in an effort to make a statement. This is sometimes the only way people have to express how pained they are by the inhumanity they’re witnessing on African soil.
We never ever saw Nelson Mandela throwing stones at Kwame Nkrumah, Samora Machel and Julius Nyerere so what is this now?
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
@sholard_mancity A flaw and a crime are two different things... A flaw and violent aggression are two different things... A flaw and murder are two different things...
@AfricaFirsts What about killing a fellow African, is that the Ubuntu Spirit of Africa??? What about harassing the neighbor in your house claiming they are finishing your food, is it truly Africa??? Africa is hospitality, relationship, community of ownership, empathy, sympathy, LOVE...
@NigeriaStories Our relatives being persecuted are not politicians. Our nephews and nieces sleeping in the cold are just kids. The people killing our own relatives are not politicians . If South Africans are so perfect, call your criminals to the USA to support you...
@luxemiaa@_iamtolulope There is a Gentleman lying inside every man who only comes out if there is a Worthy Lady. It's no mistake, nor fluke, no new... It's only your experience that was new. Men is rightly defined in deed and in need.
He said, “If my mother dies while I’m busy protecting this job, this company will replace me next week and move on like I never existed.”
Honestly, the entire office became quiet after that.
The craziest part is that after he resigned, some people started calling him emotional and irresponsible for leaving without another job lined up.
But personally, I understood him completely.
Because some moments in life force you to choose between being a good employee and being present for the people who truly matter to you.
It was a suicide note.
Turns out his wife died unexpectedly when he was 29.
He planned to end his life the same night.
But earlier that day, a coworker invited him to lunch.
Nothing deep.
Just:
"Come eat with us."
He said that tiny interruption delayed his plan long enough for him to reconsider.
Then he looked around the room and said:
"The scary part is none of you will ever know how many people are alive because you were accidentally kind to them."
Half the room was crying before he finished.
@pens_and_tots@ceraliza I once said to a learned friend of mine, "The greatest wealth is contentment, gratitude and honour," and he told me I was poor...
