@KareemFoster79 @CNviolations Malt vinegar smells like sweaty feet, old brewed coffee can have a skunk smell, dried fish smells like unwashed vagina, cumin smells like underarm BO, blue cheese smells like butt crack…and yet I’ve eaten them all at some point and enjoyed eating them 🤷🏼‍♀️ It is what it is.

@RealTruggler I actually liked Love and Thunder. It wasn’t profound but while there are moments of deep thinking in comic books, they are mostly just soap operas for nerds. I think making things always too serious takes the ability to have fun out of watching MCU movies.

@realmelanieking 😂 Y’all know Ryan is openly bisexual, right? It’s one of the reasons he wanted to play Deadpool, to represent an LGBTQ character as a bisexual man. “Outing” him for a message is not some big revelation, my dudes.

@kirawontmiss Ugh, this triggered a deep seeded “responsible child” people pleasing trauma in me. My mom would run up credit card debit and then ask me to use my whole pay check (at 16) to pay bills or buy the family groceries. And I did it with little pushback cause I thought it was duty.

@rant_rn @HoCStaffer Absolutely NOT. Most legal migrants struggle to pay bills if they aren’t qualified for a specialty job that pays well. My husband works at a soup kitchen despite PSW training bc no one will hire him for that job.

@SurvivingCrypto @HoCStaffer Yeah, that’s not true of all migrants bc most struggle here when coming over legally and without refugee status. Maybe you should look into things before making prejudiced comments 🤷🏼‍♀️

@HoCStaffer He worked his ass off to get here legitimately for studies, was caught by a predatory private college, and now continues to work his ass off to live here legally and fairly despite being given zero help from the government.

@HoCStaffer I love that you say “migrants” without saying which type like all migrants here receive the same. They don’t. My husband is a migrant and I am a Canadian. He didn’t receive, nor was he eligible for any of those benefits when he came here. 1/2

@chris_bosley @larryjones I don’t wish people to freeze. I also don’t wish for more Canadians to end up homeless from the cost of living being more unbearable. Reading people’s comments here does not give me hope Americans have empathy.

@chris_bosley @larryjones As a Canadian, I tend to agree about cooperation. However, being a Canadian about to be affected by yet another crippling inflation and threatened with annexation by destruction, I’m not in a good mental space to think cooperation won’t end up in losing my future. 😣

@chris_bosley @larryjones The energy output from Canada’s section of Niagara Falls powers a large portion of Michigan, New York, and I believe Illinois (but I’m not entirely sure if it’s Illinois). Anyway, if Niagara Falls energy output was diverted from those areas, it would put many in the cold.

@FightBatch If my 19 year old brought home a stolen car, I’d be marching my son into custody myself. Bc he would know better than to steal something and know me enough to understand I wouldn’t tolerate it.

@_imcountry My apartment in Canada is smaller than this and I pay $300 more, so congrats on finding a nice place for a decent price! Decor is honestly what makes a place feel like home anyway, but it’s also really nice on its own.
