Earlier this week, members of @thePHPA staff attended the @AFLCIO Convention in Minneapolis.

This event provided an important forum to engage with labour leaders from across North America, exchange ideas, and advance the interests of professional hockey players within the labour movement.

A key focus was the AFL-CIO Sports Council, which brings together unions representing pro athletes to support worker rights and fair treatment throughout the sports industry.

PHPA Executive Director @RamsayPHPA was recently named co-chair of the Sports Council, further strengthening the PHPA’s leadership role within this important coalition while reinforcing its commitment to championing the interests of professional hockey players alongside our peers in sport.
