Sending out an 'I see you' to anyone who is struggling today. You are not alone.
I woke too early, so I'm posting my latest blog to fill the time!

#BreastCancer#CancerDiary#NotesOnBreastCancer
I had a similar procedure two years ago. No pain relief offered at all. It was horrendous. I yelped, flinched, gasped and cried. I struggle to think about it now because it was so upsetting.
The pain from breast cancer surgery was bad, but those biopsies were far worse.
"And yet, by way of a broken and depleted health-care service, I am changing my own dressing in my bathroom in a state of emotional meltdown."

@ThanksCancer The cancer charity adverts where the patient is given an 'all clear' by their consultant and everyone celebrates with hugs. In my experience, good news comes in letters, I've never hugged a doctor, and an 'all clear' is not a permanent state of play.
@ThanksCancer The lack of 'care' from all health professionals, including MacMillan nurses - everyone was so task focused, under-resourced and stretched beyond capacity - no-one had time to care for me. I often felt invisible and forgotten about and I found that really hard.
We're very excited! Our first live online event, completely free, no offer at the end of it. We're doing this in service to women who we believe need clearer, more comprehensive info, less hype and a lot less fear when it comes to #menopause Register here: https://t.co/ZKG65hdLyE
