@theRealRisdon students & staff collected nearly $4,800 in coins to build a tiny house for an unhoused person thru @LIHIhousing. Student leader Emma Bedingfield said, "we wanted to support the homeless because we see the impact homelessness has on so many people” #RSDPride

Our Risdon Orchestra performed at the Soundview Orchestra Festival last week and received excellent feedback from Jeffrey Bell-Hanson, director of orchestras at PLU, as well as top scores from the other two judges. Way to go #Timberwolves!!

@theRealRisdon #Orchestra, led by Orchestra Teacher Mollie Ewing, gave a live, in-person #concert Tuesday night. This was the first in-person concert by the school since November 2019 as schools and other venues closed due to the #pandemic. #RSDPride #Music #MusicMatters

Girls @MMSLancers, @theRealRisdon & @LHSEagles_Lindb will soon receive #sports bras, support wear, other #exercise gear for PE thanks to the charitable organization Bras for Girls. Nearly 400 sports wear items are being provided to our #girls thanks to our PE teachers.

Risdon Middle School students met last week with Renton Schools Superintendent, Dr. Damien Pattenaude, to share what they like about our school and what can be improved. Our students were thoughtful, engaging, articulate, and great representatives of RMS. #Timberwolves

Tonight, our transportation team drove throughout the district to review road conditions. While main roads are mostly clear, icy conditions remain on several side roads and sidewalks in certain areas of the district. Therefore, RSD will start 2 hours late on Monday, January 3rd.
