I don’t know how you can watch that game and say that Drake is seeing the whole field, going through progressions, reading blitzes, and has great pocket awareness. Josh McDaniels’ desire to establish the run and be a physical football team is so great that he bites his own nose off to spite his face. He has the worst poker hand when it comes to run vs. pass, and it’s been predictable dating all the way back to the James White days.

Things NEED to look different. Every analytic would tell you that spamming run plays that aren’t working on 1st and 2nd down is just bad ball.

@SavageSports_ @NBCSBoston I understand getting mad at some of Felger’s takes. This is not one. He’s right. McDaniels offense is outdated and predictable. It also does not work without Tom Brady.
