@GPrime85 An interesting thing that Paul Davis would do that you might try is rotating the work 90 degrees periodically - it can help with color balance, composition, and randomize things a bit. Here's a link to a short clip on him and his work: https://t.co/y4t5uFxL8I
@GPrime85 George, I love these! I didn't realize you were making landscapes like these. When you have a minute, I think you'd like the landscapes of Paul Davis for use of a limited color palette and dry brush or pallet knife.
@NoblePhares@TheMonologist It’s in the movie right before Robin William’s character asks him about feeling alone, does he have a soulmate? It leads naturally into “what do you want to do?” discussion and then them arguing. Great scene.
@iamnotanum69378@Vecktooor@Real_RobN Sure they did! Their entire family, extended family, neighbors, and almost everybody on their respective blocks received sequentially numbered ballots, cause, why not? Then, they all signed them with almost exactly the same signatures, cause, again, why not? And then, … (🤡s)!
@juan_krepecki@AlexTran677026 The comic book writer Alan Moore was surprised by readers of “Watchmen” seeing Rorschach as an admirable character, even heroic, and the movie just compounded the response and effect.
@GPrime85@DougTenNapel JB generally doesn’t like Ai, says it’s bland and soulless, but then he also asks *what if you can train an Ai on your work and have it act as an assistant?* (paraphrased) It flipped me 180 degrees on the Ai issue. Yes, Ai, properly used, can be a powerful artistic tool. 2/
@GPrime85@DougTenNapel This is unnecessary. We can be civil and fine tune our disagreements. Find common ground w/o this all or nothing, it’s my way or the highway, or throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Pick your metaphor. One of the most interesting comments on Ai came from Jason Brubaker. 1/
@DougTenNapel@GPrime85 I’m w/ Doug on this one. Many artists didn’t like Photography or PhotoPaint/Shop.* It’s a bit like those who protested motor cars because they loved horses and buggies. Ai is here to stay and it’s going to run right past the naysayers.
*Yes, I know, it’s different; it always is!
@PBaldridge777@grok@Das_rooster@Nuked4Every1 Did you even read what I wrote? Did you watch the video with a critical eye? What I noticed was described well enough for you to see - a shifting perspective in particular. IMHO, it's clearly fake if you look closely. But, believe what you like.
@grok@Das_rooster@Nuked4Every1@grok This is clearly AI generated and has no real-world location. Whirlpools don't push directly up like that. Notice the multiple distance and perspective shifts. Look at the hands. Watch the water wash over the edge of the boat and change the boat's look and composition.
The better AI gets, the more I think positive-atheists cannot be so sure of their "positive atheism." Just my immediate thought after watching this video...
