Policies over Parties-First, If you got one, always start with your line in the sand. If a candidate is hard against you and obviously won't budge on an issue that matters deeply ... rights, land, taxes, war, speech, guns, schools, whatever your non-negotiable is, they are out. The end.
After that, just watch the person. A campaign is the audition. How a candidate asks for power tells you how they will use it.
If they dodge questions now, they will dodge accountability later. If they pander now, they will sell out later. If they attack instead of answer now, they will govern the same way, only with a title, staff, and taxpayer money and attack way harder.
Policies over parties means slowing down and judging the human, not the jersey.
Can they explain what they believe? Can they admit a tradeoff? Can they tell their own side... NO?
Power does not create character. It reveals it.
Vote for the one who proves, before Election Day, they can be trusted with it.
Just my opinion and I'm nobody.

After searching for Ryan Busse’s concession speech, we couldn’t find the official version.
We did, however, receive an anonymous copy of something that feels spiritually adjacent:
STATEMENT BY RYAND BUSKER
JUNE 3, 2026
Congratulations to San Vorstag on winning the fucking primary.
What a beautiful democratic process. I got steamrolled by a guy whose name sounds like a half-assembled IKEA sex lamp.
To every volunteer, donor, and voter who believed in this campaign: thank you for helping me spend six months driving through every windy shithole in western Montana, shaking hands with people who hate socialism unless it’s grading their roads, subsidizing their ranches, plowing their driveways, or mailing them a check.
Your support meant everything.
The result meant less.
Thank you to my wife Shera and the kids for watching Dad pour money, time, dignity, and family peace into a political porta-potty that finished tied for last.
Now it’s time to unite behind San to defeat that radio shock-jock asshole Aaron Blitz. Because nothing says “Montana values” quite like choosing which loud professional liar gets promoted to a bigger microphone.
Still, I remain hopeful. Montanans are rugged individualists. We hate big government right up until the benefits arrive. Then we become flag-waving grant applications in boots.
That’s not hypocrisy.
That’s our culture.
Thanks again for believing in our vision.
Whatever the fuck that was.
Ryand

Just when we all thought Ryan Busse couldn't perform any worse in an election, watch him lose to Sam Forstag in the primary this time around. It's going to be hilarious.
We had one billionaire funding the unknown Democratic nominee through a PAC run by Moffie Funk, former Dem legislator, and a farm girl from Malta saying she supports Alme made news. I’ve proved my point. We have no press.
PS - Alme is a fucking piece of shit Trumper

Hypocrisy and Pathetic Selective Amnesia 101.
Who owns Senator Tim Sheehy? Spare me. This is not some grand moral crisis. It is the same dirty game both sides play.
Over 300 million dollars flooded into that Montana Senate Race. That's gross.
If you are going to cry like a triggered Karen about 64 billionaires dropping 47 million dollars on Sheehy, then let us talk about Jon Tester’s greedy vacuum that sucked down nearly 98 million dollars from his own fleet of coastal puppet masters. George Soros, Stephen Mandel, Jim Simons, and a swarm of others, plus boatloads of dark money super PAC cash and big AIPAC dollars.
That is not an auction when your guy loses. That is just sour grapes on crack and steroids.
Bottom line: Montana voters saw the cash tsunami, shrugged, and still fired the incumbent. Turns out the real owner is not the biggest donor. It is the Montana voter. And that is exactly how it should be.

Who owns Senator Tim Sheehy?
"64 billionaires and 37 of their family members contributed around $47 million to Sheehy’s campaign. Forty-seven million dollars. Think about that. That’s an auction, not a democracy." #mtpol https://t.co/2gsmvHlLuW
No your point has merit. Unless Trump yanks a full-grown elk out of his hat, this fall is shaping up like a turkey shoot in a blizzard: loud, messy, and nobody really knows who’s hitting what.
Especially Montana. We’ve got a state constitution with actual muscle. Amend it so any major public-land sale, lease, swap, or sweetheart backroom deal over a set dollar/acreage threshold requires voter approval.
Simple rule:
If politicians want to move the people’s land, the people get the final vote.
That keeps Montana land where it belongs - under public control. #Butte #Helena #Kalispel #Bozeman #Kalispel #Billings #Missoula #GreatFalls #Hamilton
If Trumps "war gambit" crashes and burns bad enough - Dem's could pull an upset.
If Trump opens up the Hormuz strait fast enough and keeps it open long enough to get oil prices in the low $2/ gal range - Flint will win in a landslide.
I think that's his youngest boys account. So I left him alone. The kid is a better man than me because if Ryan was my dad, he would of had terrible accident a long time ago. Imagine being around that voice and attitude your whole life.
You’re right and in hindsight, he’s probably the actual favorite.
Problem is, the guy is so bone-dry boring I genuinely forgot he existed.
Honestly, same goes for Alme.
Damn... weren’t you trying to cook Alme for Reilly Neall like 24 hours ago?
That’s cold as ice, and I love it.
If I wasn’t married I’d be stalking you so hard you’d need a restraining order… @jamideeW
The November ballot in Montana is set and it’s a tale of two candidates: One got on the ballot because party insiders put him there and cut Montanans out. The other got on the ballot by gathering more than 20,000 signatures.
Now the special interest PACs are bankrolling Kurt Alme’s campaign.
This November, Montanans will have a choice between the same systemic corruption and bank room deals, or an Independent voice who will fight for our state and its people.

@theSOURCE406 Tying yourself closely to Trump, especially if the increased costs remain across the board, could be enough of a factor to offset those 8k voters. And Forstag is the best candidate for this exact scenario.
