A few weeks ago, I asked: Why are we still using paper attendance in 2026? ⏱️🎓
Manual sheets are a 15-minute productivity killer. But the real issue is Trust. If you can sign in for a friend from Lagos while the class is in Ibadan, the system is broken.
a lot of discussion on this nigerian twitter doesn’t even concern me dawg.
I just want to leave the country and have a better life.
“50/50”, “polygamy”, “marry a man that pays for everything”, while I am here researching countries I can file for asylum.

Client: How much for a website?
Developer: ₦500,000.
Client: ₦500,000?! For website?!
Developer: Yes.
Client: My cousin can do it for ₦30,000. He uses WordPress and AI.
Developer: Then let your cousin do it.
Client: He said AI will replace developers soon anyway.
Developer: Then wait for AI to build it. Why are you here?
Client: Just reduce na. ₦100,000. I'll give you more projects.
Developer: ₦500,000.
Client: You developers are greedy. It's just copy and paste.
Developer: Then copy and paste it yourself.
Client: You'll never grow with this attitude.
Developer: I'll never grow doing ₦30,000 websites either.

Truths you need to know about life after learning a tech skill👨🏽💻👩🏽💻✨
1) Nobody is coming to give you a job.
No recruiter is secretly watching you.
If you don’t apply, build, and put yourself out there, nothing will happen.
2) You will finish learning and still feel lost. Courses don’t prepare you for real-world problems.
You only start understanding when you actually build things.
3) Some people will get opportunities before you. They’ll land jobs, gigs, or internships while you’re still trying.
If you focus on them, you’ll slow yourself down.
4) Your certificates don’t matter as much as you think. Most people care about what you can build. If you can’t show proof, it’s hard to stand out.
5) You will get rejected. Sometimes without feedback. You just have to keep going anyway.
6) Motivation will not last. There will be days you don’t feel like coding at all. Discipline is what keeps you moving.
7) You don’t need to know everything to start. Waiting to “feel ready” will waste your time. You learn faster by doing.
8) Your first projects will be bad. That’s normal. Everyone improves by building more.
9) Free resources are enough. You don’t need to buy every course. What matters is consistency.
10) It might take longer than you expect. There’s no fixed timeline. You just have to stay consistent and keep improving.

@amysly_ Actually it's good 😊, buh there are sometimes a YouTube video on a section would be faster. All the same learn practice and implement. Rinse and repeat
