Watching some clips from A-Day and one thing I can say that looks better is pass pro from running backs.
We all know how that went in 2025 so it’s promising to see some improvement in that area.
It wasn’t perfect all the time, but there certainly seemed to be a sense of urgency when it came to trying to be physical and it really didn’t matter much who was in there. Can definitely tell that has been a point of emphasis this Spring.
Again - it wasn’t as consistent as we’d like, but it’s practice and things are moving in the right direction.
Keeon Russell’s pocket presence is really good. Side stepping pressure while keeping his eyes down field here.
It didn’t show up a ton yesterday, but his legs are going to be a very valuable part of Alabama’s 2026 offense if he’s the starter.
Another beautiful sidestep and layered throw from Keelon Russell, but the real takeaway?
Cederian Morgan could be a BIG problem for opposing defenses.
Also - really like size on the field here in the receiving/TE personnel.
CD Morgan - 6’4
Derek Meadows - 6’5
Marshall Pritchett - 6’5

I’m a huge fan of the practice schedule this spring. Leaving two practices on the field after A-Day feels like the right move.
Actually - Love this spring setup. Having a couple practices after A-Day is just smart — you get real game reps, then go back, clean things up, and build on what showed up in a live setting.
