@alaztekiyyah Ramadan fasting during pregnancy, from a medical perspective, is at best a grey area. Several studies have shown that fasting can impact both maternal, fetal and even offspring indices. At the same time, other studies have found no effect. So don't be in a hurry to conclude.

@alaztekiyyah As a researcher in this field, I can tell you for a fact that preg. women who fasted during Ramadan had smaller placentas than those who did not fast. It is also known that Ramadan fasting may lead to later life diziz in exposed kids. These studies are,however, often conflicting.
