@CasanovaCasts@isaac777123 I don't think comparing a powerful unit to reaction speed backline interaction is a fair comparison. I think the reason for banning star crossed is the inability to play around it (reaction/base removal) + the strength of bounce effects in a game predicated on point tempo.
Despite being an amazing game, the constant functionally different from written erratas to cards is awful for #Riftbound as a whole.
The MTG saying, "Reading the card, explains the card" is evidently not going to carry over to this TCG
@davetron Looks like this doesn't work because of a reflexive trigger errata on Leblanc. Love playing with cards that had functionally different text then was printed.

@RunesAndRift@playriftbound These errata's feel out of touch. It seems like erratas for flavor purposes and unique interactions render niche cards unplayable. While promoting problematic play patterns such as Draven's no damage combats (which feel very much out of theme/flavor for the character).
@housesarebig Along the same logic, what triggers with World Atlas. The unit or the equipment? Functionally, no equipment triggers would work, if the effect remains on the equipment with the current wording.
@readmandanny@housesarebig I think they would need an errata'd effect to read as a triggered ability from the equipment vs the creature to prevent this multiplicative effect.
@readmandanny@housesarebig Equipment adds text to cards so long as they are equipped ie World Atlas "When I hold ...". This is a distinct difference when compared to how other tcg equipment function like in magic, where equipment function as triggered abilities "when equipped creature attacks"
@housesarebig I got a different ruling from a judge. Equipment add text to cards ie World Atlas "When I hold ...". This is a distinct difference when compared to how other tcg equipment function like in magic, where equipment function as triggered abilities "when equipped creature attacks"
