@maxxmalist Seedance

[MAX @maxxmalist]

i just figured out the best way to use Seedance 2.5

latest model from ByteDance lets you generate up to 30 second continuous videos and accepts up to 50 reference assets (images, videos and audio) all in one generation

most people overcomplicate it, the real trick is in the details

my prompt structure looks like this:

[1] global scene + visual style
[2] character descriptions
[3] timestamped storyboard (0-5s, 5-10s, 10-15s...)
[4] camera movement
[5] negative prompts
[6] ending constraints

for example, instead of saying: "girl doing her skincare routine with x product"

you tell it exactly what happens every few seconds, where the camera moves, how the emotion changes, what should never appear

i put together the exact framework i use and leaking it all to you right now

here's what you're getting:

> the prompt formula for 30-second videos
> how to Use Seedance 2.5 at a fraction of the cost
> the best way to use reference images/videos
> transitions, camera movements and negative prompts

RT + reply "SEEDANCE" and i'll send it over (must follow so i can dm)

Late-night gym sessions just hit different. 🥲🏋️‍♀️

Prompt:

CAMERA & FILMING STYLE

Authentic handheld mini-DV camcorder footage with a soft early-digital-video aesthetic. Most footage is recorded directly by the creator in selfie mode, mixed with a few pre-positioned external shots.

Keep natural handheld imperfections: subtle shake, slightly uneven framing, autofocus hesitation, occasional motion blur, tiny exposure fluctuations, imperfect zooms, and brief framing mistakes.

The footage should never feel professionally operated. It should feel like a beautiful fitness creator spontaneously filming herself during a late-night gym session.

Never show the creator placing, adjusting, carrying, or setting up a camera. The camera itself is never visible.

Use clean jump cuts between handheld and fixed perspectives.

VISUAL LOOK

Soft DV texture, understated tape noise, gentle highlight bloom, slightly muted contrast, natural skin texture, realistic indoor lighting, believable skin tones, mild autofocus breathing, subtle digital softness.

No excessive sharpening, artificial beauty filters, plastic skin, CGI appearance, or glossy commercial finish.

TONE

Playful, confident, feminine, slightly mischievous, intimate, and spontaneous.

The vlog should feel like she has a tiny mission tonight: she almost talked herself out of working out, then turns the empty gym into a personal challenge.

The story gradually builds from “I don't want to be here” → “okay, let's do this” → “this was a terrible idea” → “actually… I'm glad I came.”

CHARACTER

A strikingly beautiful European brunette fitness creator in her mid-20s.

She has expressive almond-shaped brown eyes, long lashes, full glossy lips, refined facial features, softly sculpted cheekbones, a delicate straight nose, lightly bronzed glowing skin, and long thick dark-brown hair tied into a high ponytail with a few loose strands.

She has a lean, feminine, athletic hourglass figure and naturally graceful posture.

She wears soft-glam makeup that remains believable under gym lighting.

OUTFIT

A premium deep burgundy monochromatic workout set.

Fitted long-sleeve athletic crop top, high-waisted fitted leggings, sleek slightly matte technical fabric, flattering but realistic fit.

Clean white training sneakers.

Simple workout towel in a neutral tone.

No jewelry.

The exact same burgundy color, outfit, hairstyle, makeup, shoes, and accessories must remain consistent throughout every shot.

SETTING

A modern upscale gym late at night, nearly empty and quiet.

Mirror wall, dumbbell rack, adjustable bench, stretching mat, water bottle, machines in the background, warm ceiling lights, dark windows, polished rubber flooring.

No trainers, no friends, no strangers, no background extras.

STORYBOARD — 30 SECONDS / 10 CUTS

CUT 01 — 0:00–0:03 | “WHY AM I HERE?”

Handheld arm’s-length selfie as she slowly walks through the almost-empty gym.
She looks directly into the lens with a tired expression, then glances around the completely empty room as if questioning her own decision.

She gives a tiny laugh.

Dialogue:

“It’s almost midnight… why did I come here?”

Her delivery should feel spontaneous and slightly amused.

CUT 02 — 0:03–0:06 | THE CHALLENGE

She turns the camera toward the empty gym and walks toward the dumbbell area.

The camera briefly captures the mirror, benches, and rows of weights before returning to her.

She suddenly looks more determined.
Dialogue:

“Okay. Twenty minutes. No excuses.”

She gives the lens a confident little nod.

This becomes the goal of the vlog.

CUT 03 — 0:06–0:09 | MIRROR CONFIDENCE

Handheld mirror shot.

She stops in front of the mirror, fixes her ponytail, looks at her reflection, then notices the camera and gives a playful smirk.

She subtly flexes one arm for half a second, immediately laughs at herself, and drops the pose.

Dialogue:

“That was embarrassing.”
Natural, quick, self-aware humor.

CUT 04 — 0:09–0:12 | LET'S GO

Clean jump cut to a pre-positioned medium-wide shot.

She is already beside the bench.

She grabs two dumbbells, takes a breath, rolls her shoulders, and starts the first movement with confidence.

No dialogue.

The burgundy outfit should stand out naturally against the darker gym environment.

CUT 05 — 0:120:15 | THE REGRET

Same fixed angle.
She performs controlled dumbbell presses or lateral raises.

The first few reps look easy.

Then the final repetitions become noticeably harder.

She pauses, lowers the weights, looks toward the camera with a completely deadpan expression.

Dialogue:

“Okay… twenty minutes was very ambitious.”

A tiny laugh follows.

This should feel funny and genuinely relatable.
CUT 06 — 0:15–0:18 | PLOT TWIST

Jump back to handheld selfie mode.

She walks past the mirrors while catching her breath.

She suddenly looks behind herself toward the gym and lowers her voice as though sharing a secret.

Dialogue:

“The annoying part? I actually feel amazing now.”

She smiles, slightly surprised by herself.

The mood shifts from exhausted to energized.

CUT 07 — 0:18–0:21 | ONE MORE SET

Tight handheld footage.

She grabs the same water bottle, takes a quick drink, wipes her mouth with the back of her hand, then looks into the lens.

A determined expression.
Dialogue:

“So obviously… I have to do one more.”

She shakes her head and laughs at her own lack of discipline.

CUT 08 — 0:21–0:24 | MONTAGE BURST

Quick sequence inside one continuous cut.

Pre-positioned wider angle facing the mirror.

She completes a short energetic combination:

dumbbell squat → controlled shoulder movement → quick stretch.

Keep movements realistic and fluid.

At the end she drops the weights onto the rack, exhales dramatically, and looks at herself in the mirror.
Dialogue:

“Okay. NOW we're done.”

CUT 09 — 0:24–0:27 | THE AFTERMATH

Handheld close selfie.

Her cheeks are slightly flushed, hair has become a little messier, and she looks genuinely tired but happy.

She brushes a loose strand away from her face.

She looks straight into the lens with a satisfied smile.

Dialogue:

“See? Future me is going to be proud.”
Small laugh.

CUT 10 — 0:27–0:30 | WALK OUT

Arm’s-length selfie as she walks toward the gym exit.

The empty gym recedes behind her.

She looks back over her shoulder at the workout area, then back into the lens.

She gives a tiny victorious smile and raises one finger as if making a promise.

Dialogue:

“Twenty minutes turned into thirty. Worth it.”

She gives a casual little wave and exits frame.

FINAL DIRECTION

The story should feel like a tiny real-life transformation rather than a generic workout montage.
Start with reluctance and tiredness, introduce a personal challenge, show the workout becoming harder, add humor and a small unexpected emotional payoff, then finish with genuine satisfaction.

The viewer should feel like they followed her through an actual late-night decision rather than watching staged fitness content.

Keep everything beautiful but imperfect: realistic breathing, spontaneous expressions, natural movement, subtle sweat, believable fatigue, soft DV texture, imperfect handheld framing, and strong continuity.

No extra people. No visible camera. No camera setup. No impossible movements. No artificial cinematic effects. No excessive slow motion. No polished advertisement aesthetic.

The result should feel like an authentic late-night personal vlog from a glamorous fitness creator wearing a distinctive deep burgundy workout set, with a clear beginning, middle, and satisfying ending.
