@Jack2LOneill@AmazonMGMStudio afraid to ask at this point, is the cancellation reason really something about "appeal to broad audience" or "include minority groups" etc., like is there an official source about that, or is it some kind of assumption based on evidence from here and there?
@BaronDestructo That's so hard to answer. My deep respects to Maybourne.
I'll go with Todd because I'm more an SGA fan than SG1, also Christopher Heyerdahl fan and the episode where Shepard and Todd escaped from Genii was as "unlikeliest ally" as it can get!
@Romy_Holland Imagine the time, effort, and money you could save, or the tough times you could avoid, if you didn’t care about that stuff.
The hardest times in my life were mostly due to romantic reasons, and I’d be in a much better place if those had never been part of the picture.
@Empiricist871 I think it depends on the person. Personally, I prefer watching older, proven-to-be-good shows over starting something new that might get canceled after just a few episodes. However, many younger people tend to prefer the latter.
@Jack2LOneill@AmazonMGMStudio At one point TV stopped airing it right at a major cliffhanger (First Strike). Years later once I had internet I watched it from start to finish. After that, I saw SG1. I’ve always liked SGA a little more than SG1 unlike most of the fans 😃
@Jack2LOneill@AmazonMGMStudio SGA aired on Saturday nights, but sometimes my parents wouldn’t let me watch it because they wanted to see sth else. So I’d set an alarm for 4am for the rerun. Back then I was fascinated by Atlantis (island) and space in general so even the show’s name got me right away.
