Kindly never address yourself self as a " newly called to bar lawyer" to anyone.
The seniority at the bar, stays in the bar, I dont kmow if who you are addressing is a lawyer, regardless. You say what ever you want to say, you learn from your mistakes and experiences.
Senior Associate to trainees: "explore. don't let this job consume your entire life...make sure you have a life outside work.''
Same Senior Associate three hours later will give three insane tasks with COB deadline🤣🤣
Hi 👋, Newly called to the Bar lawyer here😅.
Legally, I'm not convinced GehGeh can be held liable simply because someone followed his relationship advice. Adults still have personal agency, and based on these facts, I don't see an obvious criminal offence.
The bigger lesson is this: stop treating influencers as moral authorities. Most are entertainers and businesspeople whose income depends on engagement. They won't live with the consequences of your decisions.
You will🫵.
If this story is true, it should remind us how destructive these online gender wars have become. Healthy relationships are built on communication, trust, sacrifice, and mutual understanding, not viral checklists of what a "real man" or "real woman" should be.
Scripture says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." God warned us because He knows how easily people can be misled. Read books. Learn. Think critically. Don't outsource your thinking to influencers whose livelihood depends on keeping your attention.
By the way, I'm also a graphic designer and digital artist. My portfolio link is in my bio. Feel free to check it out. Have a great day🫠
I need a consumer protection Lawyer to educate me on whether what Geh Geh did was some kind of Scam or a criminal lawyer to tell me if this was a case of 419 or any crime at all... Because would a reasonable man have really divorced his wife because gehgeh said so?
How do you guys think pregnant women on here feel when you say these things about pregnancy?
Shouldn't we be focusing on how to support them more instead of calling something natural "body horror"?
So unkind
Our house help asked for a ₦10,000 salary increase.
We said no immediately.
Her request: ₦70,000 → ₦80,000 per month.
Our decision: Let her leave and save the extra ₦10,000.
She resigned.
Two weeks later, after struggling to do all the cooking, cleaning and laundry ourselves, we hired someone else.
The reality:
• New house help’s salary: ₦90,000/month.
• The irony: We ended up paying ₦10,000 more for someone who had to learn everything from scratch.
We refused to pay ₦80,000 to keep someone who already knew our home, our routines and our preferences…
But happily agreed to pay ₦90,000 to a complete stranger.
Doesn’t make much sense, does it?
Yet this is exactly how many companies treat loyal employees.
They reject a reasonable raise, lose experienced staff, then spend even more recruiting and training a replacement.
Loyalty rarely gets rewarded.
Sometimes, the fastest way to earn more isn’t to work harder…
It’s to change employers.
