claude duet flips the flow. you don't prompt it, it comes to you
• flags what needs your attention
• keeps working when you step away
• asks before it acts for you
basically an on-call teammate that pages you, not the other way round
would you let it run overnight?
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent.
It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

Jio IPO is all over my feed today and it took me straight back to 2016 when mobile data suddenly got dirt cheap

the weirdest cool thing I've seen in a while
Cheng Lou's Handwired turns plain JavaScript into a neural net. no training. a ternary like a > 4 ? 10 : 12 becomes ReLU math, outputs match the JS exactly, and it runs in the browser without a GPU 🤯

kinda disagree. tabs vs spaces never changed whether the build passed
the harness decides which files get touched, what commands run, and when it stops. that's closer to picking your CI runner than your indentation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Just published my first article. Took longer than expected because I kept rewriting parts that made me look like I knew what I was doing from day one

@livingdevops we run our own runners on k8s, so a sketchy action isn't on github's box anymore, it's inside our cluster. pinning actions to a commit SHA is the boring fix that actually matters
@_avichawla CI hit this years ago. a job waiting on someone's approval shouldn't keep a runner busy the whole time. agents need the same pause-and-resume
