Many powerful moments last night at #DemConvention2020. One of my favorites was Christine Todd Whitman. What happened to those types of Republicans? The intelligent, level-headed, refined ones. All we see now are rednecks yelling for Trump.

This day in 1940, German Luftwaffe attempts to completely destroy RAF Fighter Command, resulting in some of the largest aerial battles at that time.

In the end, both sides suffered heavy losses, although the British shot down twice as many Luftwaffe aircraft as they lost. #WW2
