I love books that make me forget the outside world.
Books that teach me new words and pronunciations.
Books that completely immerse me.
Books that speak to me so deeply that I have to pause and simply soak in the words.
Nigeria has always been a poor country but we’re experiencing new levels of poverty. Growing up, people were poor but they could eat. Now, almost everything is 1k+. Transportation is not N50 again. Where do you want to see N30 ata rodo? Sigh.
I just saw AGBARA NLA at the cinemas and tbh, the major reason I’d been advocating for it was because it was produced by Mount Zion.
But after watching it, please go and watch this movie because it is GOOD.
I’d boldly say it is better than most of the epic films that have been brought to Nigerian cinemas.
The PRODUCTION WAS UP TO PAR. The cinematography, dialogue, music score, SFX, everything came together so well. There was no inch of mediocrity at all.
Please, go and see this movie.
top 4 feelings:
1. showering when no one's home.
2. playing music and singing when no one's home.
3. coming home to an empty house.
4. cleaning when no one's home.
