@whisperlejour Depends what you want! If you want dragons, I thought Taran Matharu's Dragon Rider was a good read. If you want more of a fantasy with more of a "magic" focus, Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn is great. Traditional, epic with a LotR feel, Eragon by Christopher Paolini is a fun read!

This Bank Holiday weekend, I dedicated my focus to finishing my book, and as of this afternoon, the first draft of my rewrite is complete!

I didn't have a @drpepper in the fridge, so I put it in the freezer while I cleaned the bathroom to reward myself with it after. I guess I took longer than I thought because it had started to freeze and when I opened it, it sprayed everywhere. #Whatstheworstthatcanhappen right?

It's funny. I write everyday, I do have a published book (even if I'm not overly proud of it), and yet for some reason, calling myself an author feels so false... maybe once I get my next book out there I'll actually belive it 😬��
