Loyalty oaths are the domain of dictators - and free men and women may pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness however they see fit, so long as it harms none. If that means dual citizenship, for whatever peaceful end, it's none of your business.

Why is it that those who claim patriotism seem to see the Constitution as an obstacle to be overcome or a foe to be thwarted? Are they so terrified of the responsibilities that come with Liberty that they must paradoxically kill it, fill its skin full of sawdust, and place it upon the mantle to point to it and declare, "You see? Freedom is so dear, and peace so sweet that I dare not use it - only gaze safely upon it and hold it in containment"?
