I love everything Dolly Parton stood for. She was so confident in her beauty, her mind, found the love of her life, but managed not to make being someone's wife the centre of her identity, cared for humanity, and crushed every multi faceted goal she set out to accomplish. Like, what a full life she lived, what an icon. This is a human being you teach your daughters about🥹✨
I hope that after today I never hear about a woman’s self worth and purpose tied to only having children. Dolly Parton is everything and more and she wasn’t a mother. I NEVER want to hear anyone say that there is no purpose outside of being a mother after today
In Benin Republic, they have a restriction on street vendors selling on the street so you won't see any food vendors / street vendors hawking. They are all inside the township 🇧🇯
Someone(who lives in Paris) is complaining about paying GHS 150 for a glass of wine at a restaurant in Accra and there are people in there defending the restaurant.
Dolly's family asked in lieu of flowers, please donate to her Imagination Library. I just donated $80 in honor of the 80 years she was on this earth. Please donate what you can. I can't believe she's gone. 😭😭😭

Government of Ghana respectfully declines MTN’s GHS20 million offer for Ghanaian victims of South African xenophobic attacks.
The Mahama Administration and local partners have made adequate provision for ongoing evacuations and reintegration financial support.
For God and Country 🇬🇭 🙏🏾
in tears thinking about when dolly said "you'll be this old one day!" expecting a laugh but sabrina immediately said "i know, i can't wait! i hope i look like you!" ☹️
i really hope the grammys are smart enough to have only miley lead the dolly tribute (and ofc if miley is okay with doing it !) bc that’s the only person who the audience would want to see up there celebrating her incredible legacy
