@Sal_Photo Seriously, I think people are annoyed to see one creekside cottage replaced with a box, but document them all in one place and it'd be shocking.
It's your duty.
@Sal_Photo When I visited Cornwall more often I was thinking of starting an Instagram acc featuring Cornish new-build uglies. Preferably before and afters. There's plenty of material.
But what it needs is an angry photographer who lives in Cornwall 🙂
According to the latest ONS figures, Somerset West & Taunton area has now the highest Covid infection rate in England and Wales, at 1140 cases per 100,000 population! No time to ditch precautions!
@PippaCrerar Let's be clear, this is NOT a Gov. triumph, this is the Gov. being dragged kicking and screaming into doing the right thing because they now need to lay their hands on a lot of oil quickly to plug the Russian shortfall. They could have done this 6 years ago!
During WW2, countries switched to a wartime footing, producing 100,000s of tanks and planes.
Why couldn't they do a similar thing now, but for solar panels, wind turbines and other renewable energy components?
Make it a patriotic duty to eliminate the need for Russian oil.
We need urgent investigation into both evidence in Russia Report of Russian interference in UK elections & about PM's decision to ignore security advice and cosy up to Russian oligarchs
When brave people of #Ukraine are dodging bullets & bombs, we should not be dodging the truth
I’m pleased Boris Johnson now accepts, as some of us argued back in 2014, that our feeble response to the annexation of Crimea by Russia was a dangerous mistake, but back then he was part of the problem, claiming it was the EU’s fault not Putin’s. Liars can’t rewrite history.
I see we are talking about wind not always blowing. Again. So, I want to let you in on a little secret of the wind industry: we know. We've always known. And no one is pretending either a) it always blows, or b) we will only use 100% wind power.
Note to BBC : Please do a full-length interview with Carole Cadwalladr.
Peak-time viewing would be best.
This is what public service broadcasting is for.
That £2.6m Downing Street briefing room refit?
A firm called Megahertz carried out the crucial work, installing computers, cameras, microphones and control desk.
Megahertz is owned by Okno-TV. Based in Moscow.
At the time, No10 said they had ‘absolutely’ no security concerns.
NEW: Johnson's relationship with Lebedev snr, isn't a scandal. It's a profound national security failure.
We need to understand Skripal poisoning was a mass murder narrowly averted.
And Johnson's illicit meeting with Kremlin proxy begs urgent questions

There’s something really perverse in the fact that the likes of Nigel Farage and Steve Barker kept arguing that it was green energy pushing up energy prices when, as is now obvious, green energy is by far the cheapest to produce and it’s gas that’s pushing up our energy bills.
Here it is. This is the clip from yesterday's @CNN interview where I'm asked - for first time ever - about Brexit-Trump-Russia.
"These vital questions of national security have been interpreted as about politics. And it's not about politics. It's about power. And about Putin."
We are now in the perverse situation where those who are on renewable energy tariffs in the UK are subsidising those on carbon fuel-based tariffs. Talk about getting all the incentives wrong.....this is absurd.
@LogFileRobot @GoodEnergy I saw that Anthony.
What I would like to know is where the money's going. It doesn't seem to be to the small scale suppliers. If It's Good Energy I'll buy shares in GOOD. If it's other large scale renewable suppliers such as UKW or TRIG I'll buy shares in them.
@GoodEnergy @LogFileRobot I'm paying Good Energy nearly double what I was a year ago, but I understand individuals who supply Good Energy get paid the same. So where is the increase going?
