What if language learning was more fun? What if scrolling was more rewarding?
I’ve always loved learning new languages and getting to know different cultures. As if life wasn’t complicated enough, I decided to make it even more complicated by adding Hebrew to it. It’s been eight months now, and quite a journey.
Somewhere along the way, I started following more creators who speak the language I’m learning. And since I already do plenty of mindless scrolling, I thought, what if I combined two things I like doing: learning languages and scrolling?
Let people pick the language they want to learn, choose the creators they want to follow, and get a random mix of their reels.
Opening each reel turns it into a small learning hub, where you can understand the creator by reading along, save words that are new to you, or take a test to practice your understanding.
It could be fun scrolling, no?
This is only a concept, and it might stay that way. But I think there’s value in following an idea just to see where it takes you, learning along the way and exploring different ways of doing things.
Reel credits go to their respective creators.

@techdroider What is “this phone” button doing on that widget on Android? Also I feel like there are a lot stuff happening on that widget which may not be needed in minimised view
@DylanMcD8 I think it’s a good point that iMessages are done that way, when you send a message it’s either iMessage or SMS, depends on you and receiver both have Wi-Fi’s at the moment, why can’t it be the same for calls? Why should I leave one app and go to another?
