I am on the opinion that if the Semis, AI or memory trade resumes, classic commodity equities will be the first to be sold off. This applies to IDX equities.

@dhoorholdings Indonesian equities remain cheap relative to EM peers, particularly in banks, staples, and energy.
If memory trades unwind due to stretched valuations rather than recession fears, capital often rotates from growth to value.
Fiscally though, it's holding up, not thriving.

I heard from atleast 3 different people (legal & capital markets) that they won't be taking margin while the rest seem uncertain (this is still very speculative)
By the looking at the movement of Indonesian commodity equities, the first should be true.
It's weird that people are finding more and more alternative assets as 'investments'. As long as there is profit to be made. It'll work. You don't always have to play the game anyway
