Amidst all the good things, the docs are incomplete. There's this link option called API reference in Nodejs:

Clicking on it points to a 404 page. This is some shit that I'd expect from a startup, but Google?

Seriously, Google, what's the deal with these Gemini API docs? Trying to set this up is like walking through a maze blindfolded.

It's 2024, and I'm still jumping between 100 different pages trying to piece together the setup process. This ain't it, Google.

You get text responses using the generateContent method. There's also a method that lets you start a chat (sendMessage).

There's also something called generateContentStream and sendMessageStream? - prolly useful if you're building a chatbot.
