LSU was supposedly great because they blew out Clemson. That's the same Clemson who is 64th in FPI efficiency with the 109th ranked offense in college football. By the transitive property, Ole Miss was supposedly great because they beat LSU at home.
Florida was supposedly great because they handily beat Ole Miss (42nd in FPI Efficiency) at home, and Florida got talked about as a likely playoff team by a bunch of pundits.
Missouri will now get sunshine-pumped in the polls because they blew out Florida at home - the same Florida that is 77th in FPI defensive efficiency.
(By the way - Florida's chances of making the playoff are now lower than Nebraska or Northwestern. I have a sneaking suspicion that won't be brought up by very many people)
Alabama's offensive dominance has been racked up against the 30th, 35th, 44th, 82nd, and 91st rated defenses.
Kentucky's two SEC wins are by a total of 11 points against the 40th and 57th teams in FPI efficiency.
Baylor beat Arizona State on the road by a bigger margin than Texas A&M beat Arizona State at home.
Nobody launders overrated wins into undeserved AP votes quite like the SEC.
VIDEO: Proof that the modern NBA is a joke!!! 🔥🔥
Here’s 5 of the 7 “blocks” from Victor Wembanyama in that first half. Every last one of them is a blatant uncalled goal-tend or foul…….
Hey @NBA— We want the same set of rules for BOTH teams!!
